This contract is for the Materials Testing, by persons who are knowledgeable, qualified and trained and who are State of CT licensed. Inspection and Testing Services per attached 11-page Statement of Special Inspections dated 1.23.25 & Downes Construction attached Draft Phasing plan dated 1.14.25 consisting of 9 phases. a. This will be a unit cost proposal. See Bid Form for requested pricing. b. Unit costs are to include all applicable testing equipment and supplies. c. Billing will be for actual time on site. Travel time to and from the jobsite will not be reimbursed. d. There will be no cancellation charges if inspections are rescheduled by 3:00 p.m. the prior day. e. It is understood there will be a four (4) hour minimum for all on-site inspections. f. All testing and inspections are to be scheduled through the Project Superintendent. g. Geotechnical Engineering and Special Inspection services will be performed by others and are not part of this proposal. h. Testing laboratory and individual technician credentials must be in accordance with the Statement of Special Inspections & Specifications and submitted with proposal. i. Handwritten inspection results are to be provided to the Project Superintendent before the inspector leaves site each day. j. All formal inspection reports will be provided via e-mail or fax to the designated project team within 72 hours of inspection or test results. Hard copies to be provided within 7 days. k. Inspection and Testing Services per Statement of Special Inspections and all Applicable Specification Sections.
