Existing Unit Specifications: i. Make: Carrier; ii. Model: 48GS-0240, Single Package Gas Heating/Electric Cooling; iii. Refrigerant: R-22; iv. Cooling Capacities: 1 ½ to 5 Nominal Tons; v. SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratios): 10.0; vi. AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency): up to 81.1%; STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW); A. Contractor shall be responsible for removal and disposal of existing Carrier 3-Ton Rooftop HVAC Unit, Model #48GS-0240. B. Contractor work is permitted between 7:00am and 5:00pm. Contractor may work beyond these hours including holidays and weekends. If coordinated and approved by the Area Maintenance Supervisor or Regional Manager in writing. C. Contractor shall be responsible for all necessary equipment, materials, and lifting devices to remove and dispose of existing Rooftop Unit and installation of new unit. D. TMD will remove all usable parts from existing unit prior to its removal and disposal from the job location. E. Contractor shall remove and dispose of all remaining defective materials in performance of the service in strict compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, codes, laws, ordinances, statutes, etc. F. Contractor shall disconnect all gas piping, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) lines, electrical lines and low voltage lines from existing unit to be replaced. G. Contractor shall remove thermostat from existing unit. H. Contractor shall remove existing roof curb adaptor and set new curb adaptor on top of existing roof curb. I. Contractor shall flush and clean existing condensation drain lines for any blockage and route condensation line in accordance with code.
