The Contractor shall: 4.1 Vending Machine Purchase, Installation, and Training: 4.1.1 General Requirements 4.1.1.1 Be authorized by the manufacturers to sell and distribute all vending equipment listed in the Contractor’s current catalog(s). 4.1.1.2 Employ or subcontract individuals who are trained, experienced, competent, and appropriately certified and/or licensed to perform the work and deliver the services required. 4.1.1.3 Provide current catalog(s) online. 4.1.1.4 Employ an in-State source, staff or subcontractor(s) who can provide the manufacturer’s authorized warranty maintenance. 4.1.1.5 Comply with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations as they pertain to equipment under this contract including manufacturing, sales, distribution, delivery, installation and technical support. 4.1.1.6 When installing equipment in a penal detention facility, comply with facility requirements for background checks and fingerprinting, see Exhibit B, Security in Prison Environment. 4.1.1.7 Employ or subcontract individuals who can obtain security clearance for the various governmental buildings in which vending machines are to be delivered, installed and training is to be provided. 4.1.1.8 Regular Business Hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. 4.1.2 Equipment Requirements 4.1.2.1 Provide an internet address and access to a website which includes current online catalog(s). The catalog(s) are to include equipment and pricing, equipment descriptions, manufacturer’s name, specifications, model numbers, part numbers, preferably with photos. 4.1.2.2 Provide only new equipment in ongoing production. Factory seconds will not be accepted. Any remanufactured equipment offered shall be clearly marked as such in the catalog/website description and will not be accepted, unless specifically requested by ADES/BEP. 4.1.2.3 New items and new Industry Standard Technology may be added to existing categories through updated catalogs.
