3. Contractor’s Responsibilities 3.1. Contractor shall perform radioisotope analysis of soil, solid samples and a rapid approach method to allow solid samples to be extracted and counted for transuranic within twenty-four (24) hours of being collected by radiation field monitoring teams. 3.2. Contractor shall meet the Environmental Protection Agency/ Federal Radiological Monitoring Assessment Center Laboratory Manual, Table B-10 requirements for early phase samples with an Arizona requirement of a forty-eight (48) hour turnaround window. Contractor shall provide analysis of radioisotopes, which includes all of the following: 3.3.1. Gross Alpha 3.3.2. Gross Beta 3.3.3. Gross Alpha/Beta 3.3.4. Iodine-131 3.3.5. Radium 226 3.3.6. Radium 228 3.3.7. Radium226 and Radium 228 3.3.8. Uranium Isotopic 3.3.9. U-234, U-238, and total Uranium Activity 3.3.10. Strontium-90 3.3.11. Thorium Isotopic 3.3.12. Gamma Spectroscopy-water samples 3.3.13. Gamma Spectroscopy soils and solid material 3.3.14. Radon in Air 3.3.15. Field Training Annually (3) 3.3.16. Table Top Exercises Annually (2)
