Offerors will be responsible for providing a cellular vehicle-to-everything (C- V2X) system consisting of: Roadside units (RSU) that will be installed into the intersection cabinets and integrated into the existing traffic signal controllers. A security credential management system (SCMS), which provides and manages security certificates to validate communications between system components. A map server that houses the roadway geometry data. A central system software that can be configured to show the details and performance of the C-V2X system, detect faulty status, generate alarms and alerts, view reports, and support maintenance response. A red-light violation warning (RLVW) feature that will provide red light warnings to drivers. The RLVW system shall include onboard units (OBU) to receive and display the warning messages. A reduced speed zone/lane closure warning (RSZ/LCW) feature that will provide warnings to drivers of reduced speed zones and temporary traffic controls ahead. The RSZ/LCW system shall include the OBUs or mobile phone application to receive and display the warning messages.
