1 Cab / chassis shall be a new Ford E450 Super duty 4x2 with a 7.3 liter gas motor, unit shall be equipped with Ambulance prep package 47H and preferred equipment package 782A. 2 South Portland Qualifies for Ford’s chassis incentives. Address must be 25 Cottage Rd, South Portland, Maine. 3 Vehicle shall meet KKK-A-1822F. Any deviation must be submitted. 4 There shall be a custom designed center console with final design TBD at final pre build. 5 Vehicle shall be equipped with 3 matching 12 volt batteries of at least 700 CCA each. 6 OEM mirrors shall be replaced with vel-vac 2020XG power, heated mirrors with an upper flat glass if at least 60 sq. inches and a lower convex glass of at least 29 sq. inches. Controls shall be in easy reach of any driver and have turn signal lights mounted to the bottom of the mirror. 7 Vehicle shall be equipped with 2 air horns with an onboard electric compressor and storage tank. Location of air horns and activation switch TBD. Compressor shall be mounted so as to minimize impact on compartment space. 8 A large flashing red warning light with audible signal shall be installed in the cab for open crew or compartment door notification. 9 A rear mounted back up camera, with a microphone so the driver can hear commands from the spotter that automatically comes on when apparatus is placed in reverse, and with a manual control to turn it on regardless of the gear selected. There shall also be a camera mounted on the rear wall of the patient compartment. It shall be displayed on the front screen when activated from cab. 10 Fuel tank shall be full upon delivery.
