Rhode Island College is accepting competitive sealed proposals from qualified offerors to provide a cloud-based Curriculum/Catalog Management/Course Scheduling solution. The information provided herein is intended to assist offerors in responding properly to this Request for Proposal. The Institution believes this information provides interested offerors with sufficient criteria to submit proposals that meet minimum requirements. This list is not intended to limit a proposal’s content or exclude any relevant or essential data. Offerors are encouraged to include additional information that will substantiate their product quality and service capabilities. A Curriculum Management/Assessment/Catalog Management/Course Scheduling solution must be able to deliver the following functions: 1. Provide the functionality needed for all four components: curriculum management, catalog management, course scheduling, and curriculum analytics. 2. Streamline and manage the curriculum management process from proposal to catalog 3. Provide routing, transparency, and accuracy of information at all levels of the curriculum management process 4. Manage curriculum delivery in ways that enhance the faculty and student experience 5. Provide a proven method for sustaining predictable and student-focused scheduling patterns 6. Allow us to follow policies for course planning, course scheduling, course cancelations, and classroom assignments. 7. Enable workflows and integrations that tie scheduling functions and assessment systems together.
