1. Disconnect and remove the existing economizer as needed for replacement. 2. Offload and install the new economizer as needed for the project. 3. Provide a crane, as needed, to support the stack while the economizer is removed and the new one installed. 4. New unit to be a like for like replacement on the duct work but piping connections will have to be re-piped. 5. Provide and install piping and fittings, as needed, to reconnect the piping to the new economizer. 6. Provide all rigging and rigging equipment, as needed, to remove the existing economizer and to offload and install the new economizer. 7. Provide boiler permit and inspection as needed for the project. 8. Quote includes all associated travel pay and expenses 9. All work to be done during normal working hours. Equipment; One (1) HEAT SPONGE-3B/COLOSSUS-13-[B(JH)-5CAC] • Carbon steel boiler tubes with upgrade to high performance aluminum fins • Carbon steel inner casing and tube supports • Inlet and outlet transitions integral to the unit including rolled angle flanges to the boiler stack outlet The maximum flue gas flange diameter this unit can accommodate is 35.75 inches • Boiler protection water catch drain system integral to lower transition • Compression-fit tubes for ease of maintenance • Removable rear door for maintenance and inspection access • Unit is built to Section VIII of the ASME Boiler Code and is National Board registered - 450 psig design pressure at 600 deg F design temperature • Performance is based on a counter-flow piping arrangement • Unit to be supplied with 4 inch RFF connections • This unit shall utilize a standard jumper connection to connect multiple headers • Fin pitch of 5 fins per inch suitable for natural gas or standby #2 oil firing • Casing designed for a maximum of 4.0 inches water column; Unit is warranted for materials and craftsmanship to be free of defects for one year from initial operation or 18 months from shipment from plant, whichever occurs first.
