A. General Description Central Arizona College, herein referred to as the College, is requesting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms to provide Construction Services for the renovation and construction of buildings at our Signal Peak Campus and potentially our other sites. Contractors must be properly registered and commercially licensed in the State of Arizona with the Registrar of Contractors. Contractors must provide this license number with their SOQ. Services will be procured pursuant to the College’s guidelines. To be eligible for consideration for these services, a Respondent must submit an SOQ demonstrating appropriate competence and qualifications, including experience with the scope of work. B. Scope of Work 1. Locations of the campuses and centers as well as a summary of the projected work for each location are as follows. a) Signal Peak Campus Performing Arts/Cultural Events Center (to include classrooms, multipurpose rooms, etc.) 8470 N Overfield Road, Coolidge, AZ 85128 b) Miscellaneous Renovation Projects: District-wide as need is determined 2. The projects listed above are for informational purposes only and do not limit or define the actual projects that will be awarded or scope of services. 3. The College will determine what construction methodology will be used for each site that may include CMAR, Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, or Competitive Sealed Bidding. 4. Selection under this RFQ does not obligate the college to select any contractor for services. Rather, the construction firms prequalified and selected as part of this RFQ merely qualify them to participate in submitting bids for competitive sealed bidding, or for being selected to be considered as a contractor under CMAR, Design Build, Design-Bid-Build, or other chosen project delivery method as the identified projects listed in this RFQ evolve.
