A. The Contractor shall remove all trees and vegetation within 25 feet of the structure on GDOT’s Right-of-Way. B. The Contractor shall be responsible for hauling away and disposing of all items and materials to be removed. C. The Contractor shall be responsible for placement, installation, maintenance, and removal of any necessary erosion control devices per Sections 160, 163, and 170 of the Standard Specifications. D. The Contractor shall grass and mulch disturbed areas as per GDOT Specification 700. E. The Contractor is responsible for obtaining exact measurements at each location. F. The Contractor shall notify the District Six Office at 770-387-3605, forty-eight (48) hours prior to beginning work and must coordinate with other construction or utility companies working in the area. G. The Contractor shall be responsible for locating (or having located) any utilities (such as water, gas, telephone, power), if required. H. The Contractor shall provide 24 hour notice to the inspector regarding any changes in the work schedule. I. Perform all construction in a manner to ensure positive drainage upon the completion of the project. J. All necessary excavation shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. The Contractor shall adhere to Section 207 (Excavation and Backfill for Minor Structures) of the Standard Specifications. K. Road repair after excavation shall adhere to the utility installation detail. (Standard Drawing 1401) L. Construct headwalls in accordance with Standard Drawing 1001B. M. All Concrete Pipe shall be installed in accordance with Standard Drawing 1030D. N. Invert locations shall be field set and approved by the Engineer. O. Pavement markings shall be replaced with like materials and shall match original configuration. P. The Contractor shall comply with all applicable trenching guidelines.
