Machine shall be Kaiser S8 Gator or approved equivalent. 2.0 Mobile Walking Excavator: 2.1 Diesel, turbo charged 4-cylinder engine minimum 136 HP @ 2200 RPM. High performance tropical cooling system with automatic reversing cooling fan. 24-volt electrical system. 2.2 Undercarriage: Heavy duty, suitable for continuous duty operation in a high water and mud type environment. Must be able to wade in 7 feet of water depth. The machine shall have no electrical or electronic components, or wiring below the upper swing bearing. The undercarriage shall be completely hydraulically controlled for safety and reliability in wet environments. The machine shall have 4-wheel steering for maneuverability. 2-speed travel with up to 8 MPH. 2.3 Cab: The cab shall be ROPS complaint with steel FOPS guard on roof. Factory AC with climate control, AM/FM radio with Bluetooth, fully adjustable suspension type seat, side and rear-view cameras, intermittent wiper. 2.4 Monitor system: The monitor system must have built-in diagnostics to eliminate the need for troubleshooting computers and software. The machine must be capable of setting individual profiles for operators, and operating parameters for multiple attachments. The auxiliary circuits must be reversible through the monitor. 2.5 Hydraulic system: The machine shall have a minimum 286 LPM work pump, a minimum 156 LPM drive pump, and a minimum 48 LPM fan pump. The machine shall have a minimum 150 LPM 2-way auxiliary circuit, a minimum 48 LPM 2-way auxiliary circuit, and a quick-coupler circuit. Additionally, the machine shall have an independent one-way auxiliary circuit consisting of a separate 165 LPM hydraulic pump and circuit to the end of the stick.
