The Stockbridge Community Schools is seeking bids to replace the existing camera system on 8 school buses, and add external cameras to these buses; to better capture footage of traffic safety violations as their current locations are too low and are easily susceptible to dust and road debris negatively impacting image quality and functionality. Bids MUST include all required materials, labor, and equipment and must meet the State of Michigan safety standards for operating school buses. Minimum Specifications are as follows: Each bus’ Camera system MUST include: A High Definition Mobile DVR with 6 HD channels up to 1080P and 2 II channels with up to 1080P camera inputs, 2 channel video outputs, 1 channel audio output, the Recording capacity of up to 10TB of data, and must include multiple recording options including continuous recording, alarm recording, motion recording, and schedule recording features, 64GB SD Card for redundant recording, panic button, and housing, Active GPS Antanae 4 Interior 1080P High Definition Mounted Cameras that have 1920 x 1080 @ 25/30 fps resolution, wide range image controls, the ability to sense high and low light and adapt to environmental needs, built-in noise-gating audio processor. 1 Exterior Stop Arm Camera with a camera lens that can clearly capture video 24 degrees horizontally, with a streaming sensitivity of 2560x1920 at 30fps, and a processor with the ability to control images using a digital wide dynamic range, automated white balancing, automatic gain control, and backlight compensation. The camera system software must also include a centralized software system that will allow videos to be downloaded to digital files to share with law enforcement, building administrators, and those with an educational need to view. Software should also have the capability of blurring student faces to maintain children’s rights to educational privacy. The software must also have GPS detection capabilities and include necessary GPS equipment for safety and security purposes.
