1. Professional services to be provided include all planning, design, and construction related services necessary to implement the Projects described in Item No. 3 below. Such services may include, but not be limited to, surveying, subsurface explorations, geotechnical analysis, civil, structural, environmental, mechanical and electrical engineering, landscaping and irrigation design, architectural services, bidding and construction administration services, construction engineering and inspection (CEI) services, resident inspection, specialized technical studies, preparation of plans, specifications, construction contract documents and engineer’s design report, grant administration services, cost estimating and scheduling, aviation planning, environmental planning and permitting services, and all other services as may be requested by the County. Additional services not otherwise provided may also be requested as necessary to accomplish the projects and will be authorized in writing by the County. 2. This Scope of Services identified projects that may be accomplished involving several funding sources. Possibly all or some of the services may not be required. The County also reserves the right to initiate additional procurement actions for any of the services listed above. Services for individual projects will be authorized as funding becomes available. 3. The County anticipates the following types of projects may be implemented at the LaBelle and/or Airglades airports: runway rehabilitation, airfield pavement overlays and/or seal coats, taxiway rehabilitations, apron rehabilitation, taxiway and apron construction, hangar construction, land acquisition, drainage improvements, Airport Layout Plan updates, Airport Master Plan updates, road and parking improvements, airfield lighting and signage rehabilitation, security lighting and fencing upgrades, helipad construction, and emergency generator installation. All, some, or none of these projects may be initiated by the County and may be dependent on funding availability.
