Assist in the planning and execution of public relations and marketing programs. The offeror will advise the IDPH and facilitate the purchase of media, including sharing graphics with existing platforms, purchasing new graphics/platforms, and organizing the public release of all publications created through or for the IDPH Communications Office. These programs have the potential to significantly impact the department's initiatives, educating residents and visitors about the importance of good health and encouraging them to take the necessary steps to maintain and improve health outcomes individually and collectively for themselves, their families, and their communities. The programs will encompass local and regional healthcare concerns and campaigns. The offeror will include marketing to niche population segments such as multicultural groups, including but not limited to African Americans, LatinX/Hispanics, LGBTQIA+, communities that are traditionally hard to reach with public health communications, local health care departments, professional associations, community-based organizations (CBOs), and other key stakeholder groups. The offeror will create and produce the content, advising on the best platforms to reach target audiences and facilitate placement of creative content with media outlets including, but not limited to, print, electronic, Out of Home, digital, and social platforms.
