The contractor will provide a construction schedule, as stated above, and materials submittals per District Standard for all materials that Contractor is supplying. For this project, the District will be providing the following materials: • Precast concrete vault • Pump assembly and appurtenances • Pipe materials and fittings, for waterline and storm drain • Electrical conduit The Contractor is expected to provide the following materials: • Backfill materials for all trenchlines, removals, and installations. • Rip-rap materials • Aggregate base materials • Any slurry or concrete to be poured onsite, including but not limited to, thrust blocks, slurry backfill, and asphalt concrete The work shall include, but not be limited to trenching, shoring, and installing the following Districtprovided materials: 12” Ductile Iron Piping, 45 degree fittings, 12’’ C900 Piping, 6’’ Ductile Iron Piping and fittings, precast concrete vault, and pump assembly. Contractor to provide, furnish, and install: tracer wire, thrust blocks, all other appurtenances, notification requirements, scheduling and coordination of tie-ins, disinfection, testing and clean-up, removal, disposal and abandonment of existing water line and appurtenances, and backfill per trench detail and encroachment permits complete and in place, all in conformance with the Plans and these Technical Specifications. For bedding and backfill requirements, Contractor is to comply with Detail 8.09 as shown on Sheet 3 of the plans, other than in the areas of the pipe and appurtenances to be installed any areas of less than 36” cover, pipe zone will be reduced to 6”, and slurry backfill to bottom of structural section. In all remaining areas outside of path of vehicular travel, Standard Detail 8.09 applies, and native backfill at 90% compaction to grade will be required. Backfill for the removed asbestos concrete pipeline section/trench shall also be 1-sack cement sand slurry.
