Specifically, this project encompasses the following components: 1. Provide and install IP End Points (speakers, speaker/clock, speaker/clock/microphone devices) in specified District classrooms, corridors, and miscellaneous locations (including exterior surfaces) a. District-provided School maps showing the anticipated locations of Speakers and clocks are attached to this RFP. These maps were developed prior to the construction of the secure entrances. The successful vendor will work with the District IT staff to modify the final deployment of speakers and clocks to reflect the current building construction. A change order will be anticipated for these modifications. 2. Conduct testing. 3. Provide "post-cutover" support and knowledge transfer. 4. The Vendor will be responsible for removing all existing paging system equipment (DuKane, Bogen Simplex} from each listed facility after the installation of the new equipment. a. While the old cabling and ceiling speakers may remain, the wall clocks/speakers should be removed, and the holes patched or plated. The selected vendor will work cooperatively with the District to complete this work, as each school is somewhat unique. The District’s Maintenance Department is aware of the work and is ready to advise on the project; however, the work must be completed by the selected vendor. b. All waste must be disposed of according to standard recycling requirements.
