1. The contractor shall provide the following landscape maintenance services from approximately April 1 through October 31 of each year to maintain a neat, manicured look to the property. 1.1 The contractor must provide mowing services to the entire lawn area of the property including the ditches at the front of the property. An approximate map of the property is included in Exhibit A. 1.1.1 Lawn height shall be maintained at 3 inches. 1.1.2 It is anticipated that mowing services will be required weekly from April 1 through October 31. However, the frequency of service may fluctuate dependent upon weather conditions and growth habits. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to choose a mowing cycle for each area to meet the expectation, with the approval of the contract administrator. 1.2 All areas inaccessible to mowing equipment shall be trimmed with a weed eater or similar device at each mowing. 1.3 All sidewalks, paved areas, and parking lots shall be blown or vacuumed to remove all grass clippings at each mowing. 1.4 All areas, including sidewalks, curbs, islands, landscape beds and tree rings, shall be edged at a minimum of every other mowing. 1.5 All hedges must be trimmed biannually, once in April and once in October. 1.6 Contractor must provide a combination of chemical application and manual removal to control weeds and volunteer tree growth in all landscape beds, walks, and drives. All chemicals must be approved by the contract administrator before use. 1.7 Prior to each mowing, the contractor must remove all litter and debris from lawn areas. Mowing over garbage is prohibited. 1.8 The contractor must report fallen tree branches or trees to the contract administrator on the same day as found. 2. The contractor must provide all material, labor, facilities, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform the services required herein.
