FUEL All vehicles purchased by the City of Dubuque must have the ability to use ethanol fuel, with E85 preferred. ENGINE The engine is to be a minimum of 145 horsepower. Flex-Fuel E85 compatible engine preferred. DRIVETRAIN The unit shall be equipped with automatic transmission or CVT, automatic/continuous AWD. HYBRID ENGINE/DRIVETRAIN Proposals for hybrid engine/drivetrain-equipped SUVs are encouraged and preferred. A separate quote for an available hybrid will be provided for consideration. MUD GUARDS Factory installed mud guards to be installed front and rear. HEATER AND REAR DEFROSTER The heater and rear window defroster shall be factory standard with air conditioning. LIGHTS The unit shall include interior dome and map lighting. COLOR The unit shall be silver, grey or white and selected at time of order. Color chart to be included with bid.
