FUEL All vehicles purchased by the City of Dubuque must have the ability to use ethanol fuel, with E85 preferred. ENGINE The engine shall be a minimum 2.2 liter displacement and a minimum of 250 horsepower. DRIVETRAIN The unit shall be equipped with an automatic transmission or CVT, equipped with push-button four-wheel drive, part-time 4WD, automatic locking hubs, and electronic hi-low gear selection. STEERING The unit shall be equipped with power steering and a tilt-adjustable steering wheel. CRUISE CONTROL The unit shall be equipped with factory-standard cruise control. REMOTE START The unit shall be equipped with remote start capabilities. GAUGES The speedometer, fuel, low fuel level warning, engine oil pressure, ammeter, and engine heat shall be gauge-type instruments. ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT The alternator shall be heavy-duty with a minimum of 75 amps. Battery shall be 70 amp heavy duty with 650 cold cranking amps.
