Comprehensive construction, installation, maintenance, and repair services for all components of the electric distribution system, including overhead and underground systems up to sixty-nine (69) kV. Pole replacements, including removal, setting, framing, tamping, and grounding for new or replacement poles. Installation, maintenance, and replacement of transformers, switches, capacitors, and other distribution equipment. Underground cable pulling, cable splicing, termination, and conduit installation. Replacement and maintenance of underground vaults and associated components. Inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance of distribution system components. Coordination with third parties, including telecommunications providers and joint-use pole partners. Provide any additional tasks related to the operation, maintenance, repair, or enhancement of the electric utility system as requested by the City. Emergency Response Services: Rapid mobilization to respond to power outages caused by storms, equipment failures, or accidents. Availability 24/7/365 with a maximum response time of two (2) hours. Damage assessment, isolation, and restoration of electric service in compliance with safety and operational standards. Respond to any emergency that impacts the integrity, reliability, or safety of the electric utility system, including unplanned outages, natural disasters, or infrastructure damage. Collaboration with City personnel and other contractors during major restoration events. Additional Services: Design, implementation, and execution of system upgrades, reliability enhancements, and efficiency improvements. Removal and disposal of obsolete or damaged materials, including poles and conductors. Traffic control measures as required for safe operation. Adherence to environmental regulations and waste management requirements. Provide customer support during planned outages or system enhancements, including temporary service solutions if necessary.
