1.1 AUDIO AND LED ELECTRONIC MESSAGE CENTER NEEDS A. Provide sound reinforcement for the Resch Center Plaza. B. Provide full color LED Message Center. 1.2 EXTERIOR LOBBY DOOR ACCESS CONTROL INSTALLATION A. Bidder to install access control / electronic door reader at the west most exterior lobby door. Bidder to work with owner on exact placement for reader. B. The door reader must work with current system and card fobs. C. Bidder must provide and install all necessary cabling and hardware needed for a fully functioning electronic door. This includes but is not limited to controller board, metal enclosure utility box for controller board, door hardware, and needed power (work with owner on power install) D. Bidder must work with owner to configure new door in current Genetec system. E. Bidder must use an approved security systems contractor. 1.3 PANELBOARDS, RECEPTACLES, HIGH VOLTAGE CABLING AND LOW VOLTAGE CABLING A. Provide speaker wire from Lower sound room C-120 to Resch Center exterior front awning. 1. Speaker wire must land in amplifier rack in lower sound room. 2. Speaker wire must land in Resch Center vestibule to connect to speakers in a weather tight IP65 rated enclosure. B. Provide high voltage and low voltage cabling needed for LED message center display and electronic door lock. C. Provide any additional breakers, panelboards, conduit, etc, needed to complete the system. 1.4 LOW VOLTAGE CABLING INSTALLATION A. Install new low voltage cabling to exterior lobby door for electronic door control. Bidder must work with owner on details for cable runs and nearest telecom room to terminate cable. B. Install five (5) spare fully terminated Category 6 cables in weather proof box at the front exterior of the Resch Center near lobby doors. Bidder to work with owner on final placement. C. Use existing cable paths and cable trays whenever possible when running data cabling. D. All low voltage cabling must meet standards for Category 6 twisted pair. E. Unless specified otherwise, cable and data jacks must be blue in color. F. Bidder must provide all low voltage networking cabling to and from equipment rack to locations. Any additional connectors, terminations, conduit, panels, or any additional supplies needed shall be the responsibility of the bidder. G. Cables shall be terminated in accordance with the T568B wiring scheme. H. Each installed cable shall be tested for installed length using a TDR type device. The cable length shall conform to the maximum distances set forth in the TIA/EIA-568-B Standard. Cable lengths shall be recorded. I. The vendor must test all cable runs, after they have been terminated. The cabling vendor must provide a full copy of all test results in electronic form, with the following information: 1. Cable identification 2. Date of test 3. Cable distance 4. Pass/fail condition 5. Cable map
