a. Preventative maintenance, performed once per year, prior to spring start-up. Scope to include but not limited to: i. Gearbox oil changes, seal replacements, and reconditioning. ii. Motor to gearbox coupling alignment, fan alignment (pitch, tracking, and clearance). iii. Spray system cleaning and grommet replacement. iv. Fill, drift eliminator, and louver media cleaning. v. Cold & Hot water basin cleaning. b. Repairs to include, but not limited to: i. Fill, drift eliminator, and louver media replacement. ii. Mechanical equipment replacement. iii. Component replacement (casing, hot water basin, mechanical support, etc.) iv. Liner coatings, using cooling tower graded liner materials. c. Unit replacements, to include but not limited to: i. Section replacements (coil section, fan section, cold water basin section, etc.) ii. Entire unit replacement. iii. Removal and installation of sections/units to all components and scope immediately related to the unit.
