This project generally consists of Basic Bid (in 3-Phases) for sewer infrastructure and interior toilet room and miscellaneous alterations at the Aupuni Center, located at 101 Pauahi Street, Hilo, Hawai‘i 96720. Phase 2A: (1) Renovate Staff Men’s and Women’s Restrooms for ADA compliance, new floor/wall/ceiling interior finish materials, new plumbing fixtures and toilet accessories, new LED lighting. (2) Connect existing sinks in one Staff Break Room location to new sewer piping. (3) Replace and/or restore existing finish materials and millwork in these spaces (including transitory spaces such as the Corridor) as required. (4) Connect new exterior sewer lateral assumed to be located at exterior side of exterior door from Corridor (exact location to be determined) and provide new sewer connection at Aupuni Street. Phase 2B: (1) Renovate Staff Men’s and Women’s Restrooms for ADA compliance, new floor/wall/ceiling finish materials, new plumbing fixtures and toilet accessories, and new LED lighting. (2) Connect existing sinks in three Staff Break Room locations to new sewer piping. (3) Replace and/or restore existing finish materials and millwork in these spaces (including transitory spaces such as the Corridor) as required. It is anticipated that most of the work will occur in overhead concealed spaces above the SAT ceiling. (4) Connect new sewer lateral located at north face of existing building (exact location to be determined but anticipated to run under the existing Corridor separating the Public Works’ Storage and Mechanical room to exit the building) and provide new sewer connection at Aupuni Street. Phase 3: (1) Renovate Public Men’s and Women’s Restrooms for ADA compliance, new floor/wall/ceiling interior finish materials, new plumbing fixtures and toilet accessories, new LED lighting. (2) Connect existing sinks in Blind Vendor and Break Room locations to new sewer piping. (3) Replace and/or restore existing finish materials and millwork in these spaces (including the existing Corridor, Vendor Storage, and Janitor rooms) as required. (4) Connect to new exterior sewer lateral running parallel to east face of existing building (exact location to be determined) and provide new sewer connection at Aupuni Street.
