BUILDING 700 Existing Roof Construction Deck: Steel Insulation: 2 layers of tapered Polyiso. & 1 top layer perlite Membrane: Asphalt and fiberglass felts built-up with a modified cap sheet Surfacing: granules Slope: ¼” per foot from the center to roof drains along front and back perimeters. Demolition and Roof Preparation Remove dust, dirt, debris and loose granules from roof surface. Remove all base flashing from walls and curbs Remove existing sheet metal items including counterflashing, pitch pans, thru-wall scuppers, sleeves, jacks, copings, and parapet wall metal wall. Replace any rotten or deteriorated wood nailers as necessary on a unit-cost basis. Remove any abandoned equipment or penetrations. Installed 2x12 wood nailers on top of the parapet walls
