Texas Military Department (TMD), Texas Air National Guard (ANG) 147th Attack Wing is soliciting competitive bids to remove replace the existing transformer with a new 150 kVA (1,000-Volt Amps) three (3) phased pad-mount transformer. Contractor must provide and install all necessary material, equipment, and wiring for the transformer installation located at Ellington Field, Building B1395, Houston, Texas 77034 (Reference ATTACHMENT G.7 Project Map-Hush House Map). 1. Contractor must remove the existing Ohio Transformer Corp MFG, NECO kVA 150 three (3)- phase transformer and dispose of it off site in accordance with all Federal, State, and local requirements. 2. Contractor must provide and install a new ALAMO 150kVA 3Ph Padmount Transformer, 12470GY/7200 – 208Y/120, or TMD approved alternative with equivalent or better specifications. 3. If Contractor must provide specifications with bud submissions for the transformer the Contractor is bidding regardless if it is the preferred model or an equivalent. 4. Contractor must coordinate with the transformer supplier to verify whether or not the current concrete pad dimensions are adequate for the new transformer. 5. Contractor must annotate N/A on ATTACHMENT G.4 Mandatory Pricing Schedule if current pad is sufficient. 6. If the current concrete pad is insufficient, Contractor must remove current concrete pad and replace with a new concrete pad with adequate dimensions for new transformer.
