Contractor shall replace fire hydrant assemblies and valves on the campus of Osawatomie State Hospital. All labor and materials necessary for the tasks indicated in the Contract Documents shall be included. A general summary of the work includes: • Replace entire fire hydrant assemblies back to the water main, including fire hydrants, shut off valves, and all piping and fittings. • Replace underground water main gate valve. • Remove one fire hydrant assembly and install a blind flange. • Install new ball valve in building service line. • Install concrete pad around top of valve boxes, or replace existing pavement as required. • Flush and clean piping as required by authority having jurisdiction. • Restore grounds, including final grading and seeding.
