Selected finalists will be responsible for the following: • Site responsive mural design for a specified site in Pierce County within the provided timeline, incorporating themes and ideas from residents when possible. • Final Project Budget o The final budget should encompass all costs associated with the creation and installation of the mural, including, but not limited to materials, supplies, permitting, scaffolding, artwork, and any other requirements of the project. • Travel funds are not available for this project. • Insurance is not required to apply but is required to be a finalist. o Insurance is not a reimbursable expense. • Presentation of the completed design and budget to the selection committee. Selected grantee(s) chosen to execute the mural will be responsible for the following: • Work with the selection panel to finalize a mural design. • Procurement of all necessary materials for the project. • Execution of the mural in a timely manner, adhering to agreed-upon deadlines. • Coordination with Pierce County staff for any logistical requirements. • Provide proof of insurance coverage required by Pierce County. • Provide proof of bonding if required for specific project. • Provide a five-year care plan for the completed mural. • Community Involvement o Selected finalists are requested to use community priorities, culture, and identity to inform mural design. • Compliance with the County's moderate background check and badging process • Removal of all tools, supplies and trash generated from site daily...
