Fire Watching Services is a temporary service that allows buildings or events to operate when they are not able to meet the provisions of the International Fire Code and/or Title 14 of City of Tulsa Revised Ordinances. Any person employed as a Fire Watch Personnel must be Fire Fighter 1 certified in accordance with NFPA 1001. Anoyone conducting a fire watch must have a paper copy of digital copy on their person of the Fire Fighter 1 certification. The Fire Watcher / Contractor shall furnish all work, services, materials, and related items necessary to complete the work specified. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: i. Fire Watch Personnel are responsible for identifying and controlling fire hazards. ii. Fire Watch Personnel are responsible for detecting early signs of unwanted fire; iii. Fire Watch Personnel are responsible for raising and alarm of fire and notifying the fire department; iv. Fire Watch Personnel are responsible for notifying occupants in danger, and assisting with evacuation of the facility
