A. In collaboration with ECECD, business coaches, coalitions, and PDG partners, identify geographic areas in greatest need of child care based on current data to target outreach to rural/frontier areas, child care deserts and tribal communities. B. Coordinate with ECECD licensing staff and quality improvement staff to develop materials, workflow, and strategies for meeting provider needs and maximize existing resources, including ECECD-funded business coaches. Offer support to providers to translate materials into Spanish if needed. C. In collaboration with the ECECD Communications Team, develop a statewide marketing campaign to promote licensed family child care and group child care as a business/career, - with the goal of reaching at least 200 potential Accelerator participants across the state. D. Hold monthly information sessions in Spanish and English (and other languages if necessary) focused on how to become a licensed family child care or group child care business owner. These sessions should focus on a range of topics, including but not limited to: start-up, the economic impact of shifting from registered to licensed status, the licensing process, the benefits of providing licensed child care and utilizing the ECECD Professional Development Information System. Virtual participation shall be offered, however at least 25% of these sessions must be delivered in person across different regions of the state.
