• In-Person Facilitation of Pre-Planning Workshop with the County Administrator / CFO, Deputy County Administrator, and Department Heads that establishes expectations for the Strategic Planning Process (Noon on Monday 24 February 2025). • In-Person Attendance is Required for Kalkaska County Board of Commissioners (BOC) Strategic Planning Workshops on Monday 24 February 2025; Monday 17 March 2025; and Monday 21 April 2025 = all three sessions start at 5:00pm • Garner significant public engagement through a Public Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) Analysis; Strengths = Internal, positive attributes of the community and are largely either under direct control or can be influenced by the community; Weaknesses = are negative factors that detract from your strengths. These are things that the community might need to improve on Opportunities = are the things the County can do or take advantage of to improve the community; Threats = are the external factors that you have no control over but need to be aware of
