The awarded research team will be responsible for selecting host sites and determining the number of test sites for this research project. It is recommended that each site includes a control test section at 20% RAM with binder replacement below 20%, a high RAM test section with the same base binder as the control test section (no recycling agent) and a high RAM test section with a binder bump or recycling agent added to the base binder. As part of their normal sample and data collection processes these DOTs will have the following information available to share with the research team: 1. All mix design information. This could include RAP and aggregate source, binder information and traffic level. 2. BMD tests results. This could include Hamburg, IDEAL RT, and IDEAL CT 3. Samples collection at production and project site. Project site sampling may be limited. 4. Distress survey with a pavement management system van
