The Apparent Successful Bidder will provide review of the annual sample plan, develop a sample schedule for each season, and provide raw data and data file post-processing for each site sampled. In addition, the Apparent Successful Bidder will oversee daily vessel operations (i.e., navigation, boat and equipment maintenance, insurance, fuel/lubricant expenses, nightly moorage expenses, and helmsperson/technician lodging and travel expenses). DNR scientists will manage the resulting contract and create an annual sampling plan that details methods as well as the sites that need to be sampled each sample season. On the main vessel, DNR scientists will set all sampling parameters at each site, conduct real time analysis for eelgrass and other marine vegetation presence and record all field observations on data forms. After the field season each year, DNR scientists will classify all the video data and report findings in an annual monitoring report.
