Service will be on an “as needed” basis and a purchase order will be issued upon activation of services with a not to exceed amount of $20,000.00 per year. The Provider must be available to work up to twelve (12) hours before an anticipated emergency event and be available within twelve (12) hours after any emergency event. Upon activation, the Parish will notify the Provider and schedule a time to meet at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) located at 510 E. Boston Street, Covington, LA 70433, to discuss the locations in need of electrical work and assign tasks. The emergency work may include, but is not limited to, troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment at Parish sites, connecting and/or disconnecting generators and other electrical needs, as required or deemed necessary by the Parish. Provider shall be required to submit an hourly fee per crew. Hourly fee shall be all inclusive to include but not limited to labor, expenses, transportation, fuel, etc. Provider shall have at least one (1) crew that will not leave the Parish during the activation period.
