It is the intent of this bid to establish pricing on ¾” crushed surfacing. Allowable products are either Idaho Transportation Department or Washington State Department of Transportation Specification gravel as listed below in the Technical Specifications Page. Any variance from the specifications or standards described in the Technical Specifications Page must be clearly stated in writing by the bidder. The vendor’s FOB point shall be in the following counties: For Washington State: Pend Oreille, Stevens or Spokane, For the State of Idaho: Bonner or Kootenai. Pend Oreille County shall be the sole determiner of whether or not an FOB point is acceptable for an award based off hauling distances. As a general guide, any FOB distances farther east than Priest River ID, west than Eloilka Lake WA, north than Metaline Falls WA Lake or further south than Elk, WA would not be considered due to travel times for hauling.
