Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) is contracting for all labor, supervision, materials and equipment necessary to provide vehicle repair services in accordance with the requirements contained in this solicitation. The types of vehicles under this agreement shall include, but not be limited to, passenger vehicles, light and heavy duty trucks, vans, and sport utility vehicles, containing gasoline, diesel, hybrid and electric (EV) powertrains. Experienced contractors may submit bids for any of the services that they are qualified to perform. It is not required nor expected that any single contractor can perform all the services. It is the intent of AACPS to make multiple awards for this contract, up to three (3) per category. At this time, AACPS owns 74 School Buses and 277 other vehicles, of which 39 are diesel-fueled, and may be considered to a part of this contract. Exhibits 1 and 2 contain the complete details of the vehicles. The services/repairs shall be requested on an as-needed basis, with the understanding that other vehicles may be added to and/or removed from AACPS’ fleet and that other vehicle repair services may be required. There is no minimum price guarantee.
