The intent of this solicitation is for Buncombe County Schools to award a contract to install a complete roofing system as designed per the attached drawings and specifications to a North Carolina licensed contractor. Work shall consist of furnishing all labor, taxes, materials, equipment, services, permits, incidental and implied for roofing Candler Elementary School Areas G and H, which consists of the complete removal of all existing roofing membrane, insulation, base sheet, flashings, metal flashing and the installation of a new pre-engineered perimeter edge metal, PVC membrane, high density polyisocyanurate cover board, base insulation, flashing, metal flashings, new gutters and downspouts, and all associated miscellaneous work as specified in the project plans and specifications.
