INTERIOR: (To be done “wet” so tank remains in service) • 100 square feet of spot corrosion repairs and 2 epoxy coats applied at 3.0-5.0 mils dry film thickness (DFT) over the repaired areas • Caulk roof/shell seam and all roof plate lap seams • Float cable repair EXTERIOR: • Pressure wash entire exterior in accordance with SSPC WJ4 “Light Cleaning” • Spot repair damage/corroded surfaces in accordance with SSPC SP-2 “Hand Tool Cleaning and/or SP-3 “Power Tool Cleaning” • Spot epoxy prime coat applied at 3.0-5.0 mils DFT • Full epoxy intermediate coat to entire exterior applied at 3.0-5.0 mils DFT • Full urethane finish coat to entire exterior applied at 3.0-5.0 mils DFT (color to be selected by Public Works) Mobilization to the site and demobilization from the site including site clean-up, vehicles, taxes, overhead, profit, and bonding. 2.11.1 The Contractor will perform all necessary testing to assure the type and quality of the materials and equipment provided to the COUNTY. 2.11.2 The Contractor will provide men and equipment for sweeping and cleanup operations (daily) upon completion and before leaving the job site. 2.11.3 All project activities shall be performed during the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm on a Monday through Thursday basis, excluding COUNTY holidays. Any deviations from this schedule must be approved by the Director of Public Works prior to being implemented. 2.11.4 A pre-construction meeting shall be held at a date and time agreed upon at the time of award with representatives from Nye County Public Works, Nye County Finance, CDBG and the Contractor prior to the start of work.
