The scope of this project includes the design, installation, testing, and documentation of structured cabling systems in compliance with E-Rate program requirements and industry standards. Proposed network drop locations on floor plans are attached to this RFP. Specific tasks include: DCAMM: DCAMM Certificate in Telecommunications Systems Site Assessment: Conduct a comprehensive assessment of current cabling infrastructure. Design and Planning: Develop a cabling plan aligned with the Organization’s need. Project is intended to be completed as one project but is limited by the funding available under E-Rate. As such the a single project shall be bid with a total project price but be broken into 2 phases. Phase 1is to cable the 2nd and 3rd floor and phase 2 the Basement, 1st floor, Mezanine such that if funding is not available Phase 2 will be bid out in 2026 as part of that years E-Rate submittal. MDF is located on the 2nd floor of the building and labeled “SERVER ROOM” on the floorplans. Installation: Supply and install nine Aruba Networking 6100 48G CL4 4SFP+ 740W Switch (R9Y04A) TAA and configured for redundant connectivity between switches using 10 GB links and 2 single mode 10 GB uplinks via MCLAG Supply and install twelve AP-635 Aruba Wireless Access Points in replacement of existing wireless access points using the existing CAT 6 Shielded wiring. Supply and install 330 network cable drops (Phase 1 consists of 158 drops and Phase 2 consists of 172 drops and install high-quality cabling components, including but not limited to: Copper Cables Solid copper Cat6 Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) data cable(s) Terminated to Cat6 Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) patch panel(s) Patch Cables to switching & supported network devices should also be of type Solid copper Cat6 STP. Fiberoptic cables Single mode cables shall be used Patch panels and racks Cable management systems Switch interconnects (ie DACs, uplinks, etc) Removal: Removal of old Cat5, Cat6, phone, and fiber optic wiring is also part of this project network plates for jacks shall be replaced if no wiring is being used in that area post removal. If Cabling is required to be abandoned in place it shall be noted on floorplans, documented in a spreadsheet and tagged. Existing Access Point and Camera Wiring (CAT6 Shielded) shall not be removed.
