a. As part of the scope of work, the contractor shall include in his bid price, the removal of all content from the work areas including chairs, desks cabinets, etc. or anything not permanently attached to the walls or floors and stored in a location designated by Newark Board of Education. At completion of work, the contractor shall return all removed items back to the work area in its original place. b. Prep work includes 2 layers of 6 mil polyethylene sheeting on all critical barriers. The contractor shall provide a fully operational negative air system which maintains a negative pressure of -0.03 inches of water column (WC) at the decontamination unit. c. The contractor shall wet scrape all surfaces and apply red guard waterproofing on all surfaces. Install mesh on all surfaces. d. The contractor shall apply a minimum of three (3) coats of spackling compound and or until the mesh is completely covered. e. The contractor shall conduct sanding on the walls, ceilings, and other building components until smooth with even surfaces achieved. f. The contractor shall apply Bullseye 1 2 3 primer to all surfaces (do not dilute the primer) for better coat or film on the wall. All surfaces, including but not limited to walls, ceilings, coat racks, window/door frames, and book cabinets must be primed. All floors in the hallway must be painted with New Gray paint exclusively made by Sherwin Williams where needed.
