Cut all lawn areas as described and designated on drawings. The area will also include any grass strips located at the edge of the property near sidewalks. Lawn height to be mowed at 3- 3.5 inches. Attention should be given to uneven grounds to avoid any lawn scalping. Prior to mowing, all litter & debris shall be picked up and properly disposed of. Any litter that is run over by the mower must be picked up and disposed of. See schedule for number of mowing at each location. Each location shall be mowed and trimmed on the same day. All grass clippings shall be evenly disbursed or collected. Contractor shall have necessary equipment to collect grass clippings. No grass clippings or clumping of grass to be left on fields at the property. Care must be taken to keep grass clippings from playground areas. Weekly meetings with Supervisor and Parks & Cemetery Division Manager to discuss schedule and any issues. or Trim grass around all monuments, benches, trees, stone walls, bleachers, basketball courts, fences. trash cans, picnic tables, and any other furnishing in the area. Picnic tables, soccer goals, trash barrels are subject to change location from week to week. All paved areas and buildings shall have the grass blown off them when complete. Work can take place during the days and hours of Monday- Friday 7:00 am- 4:30 pm, holidays and weekends excluded. Contractor to provide mowing schedule to the division manager each week via email. Town to provide list of areas that will need an additional mowing the week before, as needed. Workers shall be cautious of any people using the facility during the scheduled work.
