2. Work required pursuant to this contract includes the following: a. Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, services and incidentals necessary for the removal of existing roof systems down to the existing metal, tectum, gypsum or concrete roof deck and the installation of the following: ● A new asphalt shingle roof system of approximately 80,911 sq. ft. on ice and water shield or underlayment on sloped roof deck where indicated on drawings. The new roof system shall have a base 50 year GAF Golden Pledge warranty (or equal) non-pro-rated, no dollar limit labor and material warranty, for the first 20 years. ● A new structural standing seam metal roof system of approximately 2,420 sq. ft. on ice and water shield or underlayment on sloped roof deck where indicated on drawings. The new roof system shall have a base 30-year non-pro-rated, no dollar limit labor and material warranty.
