Equipment shall be inspected, certified and load tested. A list of all major items that will need to be repaired shall be submitted to the Officerin-Charge (OIC) or designated authorized representative, herein, upon completion of the work. It shall be understood and agreed that all inspections and tests shall be performed according to the following standards and laws, and their amendments, if applicable, and any other applicable standards, whether specified herein or not, for a complete inspection: 1. State of Hawaii Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, Title 12, Division of Occupational Safety and Health, Subtitle 8, Chapters 135 Aerial Devices, 136 Crane Derricks and Helicopters, and 137 Material Hoists. 2. The following standards referenced in the above chapters and all relevant updates shall be adhered to and be a part of this contract, in the inspections and tests: a. ANSI A92.2-1990, Vehicle Mounted Elevating and Rotating Aerial Devices. b. ANSI B30.2, Safety Standard for Overhead and Gantry Cranes. c. ANSI B30.5, Safety Standard for Crawler, Locomotive and Truck Cranes. d. ANSI B30.6, Safety Code for Derricks. e. SAE J765, Crane loaded Stability Test Code. Upon request by the City, a copy of the above stated standards shall be made available by the Contractor.
