A. Overview: The City of Farmington (City) is requesting proposals (RFPs) from qualified firms and non-profit organizations (Offerors) interested in receiving state grant funding for transitional housing and shelter facilities for victims of domestic violence for facilities in northwest New Mexico. The 2025 grant amount available is $285,000. The City has the right to award to as many Offerors as the funding allows. B. Background: The City has received State of New Mexico HB2 funding to support notfor-profit organizations that offer transitional housing and shelter facilities for victims of domestic violence for facilities in northwest New Mexico. Funds unexpended by June 30, 2025 will be reverted to the State of New Mexico’s general fund unless reauthorized by the state legislature. C. Minimum Requirements – 1. Must be a 501c that is in good standing with the State of New Mexico. 2. Minimum of two (2) years in operation.
