2.1 Traffic signal cabinet, quantity of one (1) complete cabinet with all components included a) NEMA P-size traffic signal cabinet (or equivalent) for spare b) Brushed aluminum finish c) Signal operation: assume it will be an 8 phase intersection, FYA (mode G) with 4 pedestrian phases d) NEMA TS-2 type 1 cabinet with: 16 load switch back panel, led interior lighting, six SDLC cables, TS-2 detector rack with 16 vehicle detector inputs and 4 preemption inputs, cabinet/electrical prints (1 set paper and PC file) e) Include 10 pin to 55 pin adapter for TS-2 type 2 controller “A” connector f) Include three BIU’s and one TS-2 cabinet power supply with each cabinet g) Transfer switch: Reliance C30A1L transfer switch, or approved equal, installed and prewired on signal cabinet, right side near top h) Include one 15” cabinet riser and bolt kit with cabinet i) Include 1RU mounting brackets under each shelf for network switch or splice tray mounting j) Include 8 extra spring nuts for cabinet side rails k) Include mechanical lug terminals for all 120-volt field connections 2.2 Traffic signal detection system, quantity of one (1) complete system with all components included a) The following signal detection systems are acceptable to meet the City’s minimum requirements: • Iteris Next Vector • Iteris Next Radius • Autoscope Vision • Wavetronix • NoTraffic b) For use at 33rd Ave and I-380 SW intersection c) Detect traffic (cars, trucks, motorcycles or bikes) for 6 approaches d) Detection system shall be video, radar or hybrid video/radar e) Stop bar and advance detection for traffic up to 600 feet from sensor f) Use SDLC interface with the City’s existing Econolite Cobalt controller for up to 64 vehicle detectors g) Ethernet port for setup or remote monitoring h) Include software for setup or remote monitoring i) Note: this is a diamond interchange intersection and some sensors may have as much as 600 feet of cable from sensor to cabinet. j) Include all items necessary for complete install and operation; sensor mounting brackets, sensor cable, SDLC cable, ethernet cable, connectors, hardware, aiming tools, etc. k) The following systems are currently in use by the City: Iteris Vantage Next, Autoscope Vision, and Wavetronix Matrix/Advance – for any other system, setup/turn-on assistance must be included l) Include 5 year warranty on all parts
