Specifications include, but are not limited to: TS. 1 SMOOTH CUT (MANICURE CUTTING) The grass shall be cut to a height of between a minimum 1” (one inch) and a maximum of 1 ½ “ (one and one-half inches) exposure. Cutting shall be performed in such a manner as to leave the areas with a smooth level cut in the grass conforming to the existing grade. No gouging, scalping or similar actions shall be permitted. The contractor will be responsible for scheduling the grass cutting in such a manner that all individual designated cut areas are evenly cut on the same day. For example, designated areas that have medians, roadside and canal bank areas should be cut on the same day. Grass areas immediately adjacent to existing fixed features/objects/facilities, etc… shall be cut to the height and manner as described under the “weed eating” section of work.
