The City of Pawtucket desires to seek sealed bids for the inspection and evaluation of its three (3) potable water storage tank systems as follows. - 5,000,000 gallon prestressed concrete storage reservoir located at 85 Branch Street in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. This tank will be drained for inspection. - - 3,000,000 gallon welded steel standpipe located off of Reservoir Avenue in Lincoln, Rhode Island. This tank will be drained for inspection. - 10,000,000 gallon welded steel reservoir located off of Reservoir Avenue in Lincoln, Rhode Island. This tank must remain in service during the inspection. Project will include the physical inspection of each of the tank systems and is to include a review of the tank interiors, exteriors, appurtenances, and visible sections of foundations. The inspection will include the field evaluation, an inspection of the roof and other structural members of the tanks, a coatings evaluation, safety and sanitary evaluation, and the submittal of a certified report(s) detailing observations and recommendations for rehabilitation and maintenance of the tanks. A probable budgetary cost of construction of the recommended rehabilitation for each tank is to be provided.
