Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Shelton is seeking Statements of Qualifica:ons (SOQ) from professional engineering consul:ng firms for the design and prepara:on of “for bid” quality contract documents for the removal and remedia:on of three abandoned railroad street crossings at the following loca:ons: • SR3/South 1st Street, south of Goldsborough Creek bridge • South 7th St. between Park Street and Highland Drive • Hulbert Rd. East, between W Railroad Ave. and W Franklin Street; The work to be performed by the consultant consists of engineering design and PS&E development for the closure, removal, and roadway rehabilita:on of three abandoned railroad crossing loca:ons in the downtown Shelton area. An:cipated services include survey and mapping, street design/reclama:on, environmental permitting support, public outreach and engagement support, contract document preparation (plans, specifications and estimates), and bidding assistance. The City of Shelton reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm(s) for any subsequent phases (R/W, CN) associated with these projects.
