The vendor shall provide all labor, tools, supplies and equipment required to remove and replace the two (2) existing Hot-Water Air Handlers and associated Hot-Water controls along with installation of two (2) new suspended DX Air Handler Units and condensers. Please provide specification sheets/pamphlets for all proposed replacement and new units with bid/offer. The Vendor shall remove and dispose of the two (2) existing Hot-Water Air Handler units, hot-water controls, associated ductwork, and hangers. The Vendor shall provide and install 2 (two) new Hot-Water Air Handler units with DX cooling coils. Units to be a minimum of 10 tons each and 35 BTU/H per ft2 each. Vendor to provide new ductwork and hangers for units. The vendor shall provide and install 2 (two) new suspended Air Handler Units. Air handler units are to have Hot-Water coils and Hot-Water controls and DX cooling coils. New outside air and supply ductwork. Vendor has option to use existing outside air louver in side-wall. Vendor shall install new air handler units with mixing boxes and economizer controls. The vendor shall provide and install 2 (two) new air-cooled ground mounted condensers. Vendor shall provide concrete pads on grade and protective bollards for condensers. The vendor shall provide and install all associated hot-water controls for all new units , including, but not limited to, 3-way valves, circuit setters, and strainers. The vendor shall provide and install 2 stand-alone low-voltage thermostats with wiring for Air Handler Units. The vendor shall set up each air handler to fire alarm panel with shut down conditions when tripped. The Vendor shall use the same manufacturer for all new units to ensure compatibility and ease of maintenance. The Vendor shall provide and install new line sets and new coils. The Vendor shall provide rigging and equipment necessary for demolition, removal and disposal of the existing units in accordance with all environmental laws, standards, or codes issued by any Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in regards to waste and its disposal. The vendor will be responsible for following all proper procedures, methods of containment, and abatement of asbestos. The Vendor is responsible for obtaining ALL necessary permits- including permits from Regional Office of Education (ROE) or Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). The Vendor will provide all rigging, set-up, electrical work, piping, controls, and any other services that are necessary for completion of the installation project. Any modifications to the facility and/or utilities required for the removal and installation of the units shall be considered part of this project and will be the Vendor’s responsibility. The Vendor will return any such modifications to its original condition upon completion of the project. Vendor will perform complete operational and functional inspections once new units are installed. Vendor will provide an operational training to the School’s staff. Upon completion of project, the unit must be “turn key” operational for the School. The Vendor shall provide the School with, at a minimum, a two (2) year warranty to guarantee the installation of the new units. The warranty shall cover installation, electrical and plumbing connections, and any other services and or connections required to complete the installation project that is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
