The City is seeking a contract with a vendor who specializes in the assessment of existing sidewalks and curb ramps. The city has approximately 339 miles of sidewalk and 3862 curb ramp locations. This project's services will include assessing the sidewalks and curb ramps by Lidar, other technology, or manually measure accessibility. Deliverables will consist of a report that will include material such as running slope and cross slope violation, trip hazards, detectable warning surface status, clear width violations, quantity and location of deteriorated concrete/asphalt, and any other accessibility requirements needed. This work will include all existing public sidewalks and curb ramps throughout the city. The city desires data collection to occur in 2025 and final deliverables to be submitted in spring 2026.
