Work Description: Per the Consultant Services Agreement, the selected Consultant(s) will provide all necessary reports, prepare and submit all necessary applications and permits, prepare a right-of-way plat as necessary, descriptions, construction plans, and specifications for the projects as presented. No project work shall be initiated until notified by WisDOT via the Notice of Award, Notice to Proceed, and after signing of the 3- party Agreement for Consultant Services by all parties of the Agreement (Consultant, County, and State). 1. STP #6217-01-03/73: Removal and replacement of structure P-11-0091 Hall Rd at Crawfish River located in Section 6, Town 10 North, Range 12 East, in the Town of Columbus, Columbia County, Wisconsin; o County shall function as the OWNER on behalf of the Town of Columbus (Town will have representation on the Consultant Selection Committee); o This contract will include design services for the replacement of the structure androad approaches. Approach lengths are estimated at 100 feet; o Traffic management during construction is planned for road closed with detour; o Existing is a single span timber slab with wood pier abutment and timber backing, bituminous surface deck; o 28 ft in length with a 26.5 ft clear roadway width; o 2 lane roadway with 56 ADT traffic load completed in 2015; o Constructed in 1961, bridge currently has an inventory rating for HS05, operating rating for HS08, with a 15-ton load posting; o Inspection Report dated August 8, 2024 is included (attached). 2. STP #5653-00-01/71: Removal and replacement of structure P-11-0037 CTH VJ at Rocky Run Creek located in Section 4, Town 11 North, Range 9 East, in the Town of Dekorra, Columbia County, Wisconsin; o This contract will include design services for the replacement of the structure androad approaches. Approach lengths are estimated at 100 feet; o Traffic management during construction is planned for road closed with detour; o Existing is a 2 span timber slab with wood pier abutment and timber backing, bituminous surface deck; o 35.8 ft in length with a 26.3 ft clear roadway width; o 2 lane roadway with 470 ADT traffic load completed in 2021; o Constructed in 1956, bridge currently has an inventory rating for HS21, operating rating for HS29, with LOAD LIMIT POSTING of 40 Tons; o Inspection Report dated September 18, 2024 is included (attached).
